New acupuncture patients at Remedy will need to have a physical exam and health history session with the acupuncturist that will take about an hour. It does not include a treatment. We will evaluate your health history by discussing your chief health concerns, current lifestyle and diet, medications you may be taking, other treatments you may be receiving, and what your health goals are. Based on your diagnostic evaluation, we will make treatment recommendations that will help you accomplish your goals.

Individual acupuncture sessions will take about an hour. Most patients qualify for a discount. Acupuncture sessions may be recommended in a series. All treatments at Remedy are done in private rooms. You will be resting on a massage table while receiving acupuncture. If you are asked to disrobe, you will be draped appropriately during your treatment. Your comfort is one of Ginna's priorities. Your table may be heated or the use of a far-infrared heat lamp will help to keep you warm so that you may relax during your treatment.

Supplements and herbal remedies may also be recommended. These recommendations are included in your evaluation and refills are available on a prescription basis. Products are sold separately.

Once you are an established patient at Remedy, if a new health condition arises you may need to be re-evaluated. There may be a fee for additional consultation time spent with our practitioners.

Massage patients do not require a new patient exam.
