Annie Butler
Annie first discovered her draw toward and passion for complementary health practices as a teenager. While in college she studied Eastern Religions where she focused her research on the relationship between religion and medicine in both mainstream and complementary practices. After several years of trying to "figure it out", Annie realized that massage and bodywork was not only the perfect pathway into the world of integrative treatment but was actually the path she had been on all along.

Annie graduated from The Healing Arts and Massage School here in Raleigh, NC. She specializes in Lymphatic massage - a gentle and unwinding massage that stimulates the body's natural immune functions while also helping the body effectively process and remove toxins from its tissues. She also has training in Swedish techniques, Reiki, Reflexology, and pre/post-natal massage. While in school, Annie played with the combination of massage and Reiki to develop a sort of heavy-handed, intuitive Reiki treatment she still enjoys exploring.

What Annie enjoys most about massage and bodywork is the process of self-discovery for both the client and practitioner alike. Annie believes that touch can be a powerful instrument of awareness and presence that opens the space for healing and massage is an exciting exploration of that process.

Sheila Master
After completing an apprenticeship in a Holistic Health Center in 1999, Sheila decided to continue her study of the body and massage therapy. She graduated from the Southeastern School of Neuromuscular and Massage Therapy in 2000 where she studied Swedish and neuromuscular massage techniques. She has continued her education with studies in traditional Thai massage, hot stone massage, and pregnancy massage.

The most rewarding part of Sheila’s work is to witness the progress her clients make and the joy they get when they are pain free.

"Sheila's caring, gentle touch makes me feel so relaxed and comforted! She has an amazing knack for finding the spots you didn't even know were sore and working them out."

Laura Lee Pearson
Laura Lee's decision to become a Massage and Bodywork Therapist was a result of her own healing experience. It was through bodywork that Laura Lee successfully healed a serious whiplash injury, regained full range of motion and released years of stress and tension. This healing experience, among others, showed Laura Lee the profound effects of touch and she knew she needed to help others heal in the same way.

Laura Lee graduated from the Cumberland Institute of Nashville, TN in 2004 and has been a Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist for five years. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, graduating from Auburn University in 1994. Laura Lee has training and experience in Myofascial Release , Reiki, Craniosacral Therapy, Swedish and Deep Tissue. Most recently she is studying Visionary Craniosacral Therapy with Hugh Milne of the Milne Institute, Big Sur California.

Her bodywork focuses on a deep listening, to the physical and energetic body. She combines her skills and works intuitively, honoring the wisdom of the whole being and supporting its ability to self heal.
