Remedy treats most women's health concerns: irregular cycles, PMS, pain and cramping, pelvic inflammatory disease, ovarian cysts, endometriosis, infertility, menopausal symptoms, low back pain, mid-cycle pain, vaginal discharge or dryness, recurrent yeast infections, urinary difficulties, migraine headaches, and sexual dysfunction.

We also work with pregnancy related complaints: nausea and vomiting, back pain, sciatica, breech birth position, carpal tunnel syndrome, swelling, recurrent miscarriage, and labor induction.

Chinese herbs are often an adjunct treatment with acupuncture, cupping, massage, and electrical stimulation.

Fertility patients should plan on coming in for treatment once per week, for at least three to six months; except the week that they are having their periods. Herbal formulas and supplements are almost always recommended. Taken properly, herbs and supplements can remove unwanted hormones from the body and restore receptor site sensitivity, correct ovarian-pituitary feedback loop dysfunction caused by long-term birth control use, and increase blood flow to the uterus. It is important to follow your practitioner's recommendations concerning herbs and self- care.

Basal body temperature charting is a very helpful tool when trying to conceive. Patients are encouraged to practice recording BBT and cervical fluid changes throughout their monthly cycle. Some patients may also require a saliva hormone test for assessment purposes.
Male partners are encouraged to participate by receiving treatments. Sperm motility, quality, and count are important components of conception and can be enhanced with acupuncture and supplementation.
